beautiful photosynthetic gorgonian that features a deep purple skeleton with
medium sized tan polyps. This species grows mostly upright and features
thick branches. It can be a delicate shipper, but once properly
acclimated it is a fantastic specimen. Gorgonians regularly
shed tissue to remove buildup of sediment and algae from forming
on their skeleton. All photosynthetic gorgonians require roughly 4-5 watts
per gallon to thrive. Like many corals, it also filter feeds, so weekly feeding
is recommended for optimal health. We offer single specimens
mounted on reef plugs that are 6-8"
